"I
was born in the city of Mar del Plata (Argentina). My inclination
for the art, in all its ways, began from very young studing drawing
arts, advertising drawing and photography. In 1990 I graduated of
Architect in the National University of Mar del Plata, this profession
has contributed me knowledge, in color, shape and composition that
I overturn today in my works. I began to paint animals for the single
pleasure that provoked me to capture their expressions, I started
painting my closest friend's pets.
From 1995 when I carried out my first exhibition of portraits in
Mar del Plata, I began to be related with the breeders
(see hatcheries) and the world of dog shows.
This means contributed myself knowledge beyond my observation capacity
since on one hand I started studing about cinophylia and, besides,
I was in contact with breeders of different races, those that constantly
used to taught me about the peculiar characteristics of the different
dogs.
As for the realization of the portraits I prefer to work on one
or more pictures taken from different angles with the purpose of
having a large quantity of views to work on detail. I paint for
people that live in the Argentina or for those that reside in other
countries contacting them by e-mail. The techniques that I use are
pastel chalk, acrylic and graphite or cinder.
At this moment many of my paintings are in Argentina, acquired by
breeders and grateful dog show judges as in other countries like,
Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, USA,
Spain, Eslovenia, Belgium, etc..
In October 2003, fifty of my paintings made in acrylic, have been
exposed in the exhibition of SICALAM (see
pictures here), carried out in the Exhibitions Center of Costa
Salguero, Buenos Aires, Argentina. My works can also be seen in
a permanent show located in the central hall of the Argentine Cinology
Federation.(Federación Cinológica Argentina.)
